This document introduces the Laser Kits configuration plan for the DIY Fiber Laser Metal Sheet & Tube Integrated Cutting Machine, including four major components (laser source, cutting head, cutting system, and water chiller), chuck, transmission system, gas control system, electrical components, and auxiliary equipment.

4. Transmission System

Z-Axis Slide TableZ-axis slide table for DIY fiber laser cutter with height adjustment and precise control, shown with wiring and connectors.

Used to control the height of the laser cutting head, recommended to be equipped with a 400W motor and drive system for smooth movement.

Servo Drive System (Yaskawa,Leadshine)Leadshine L6 Series Servo Motor and Drive with one-key auto-tuning and vibration suppression for enhanced equipment precision and efficiency

  • Tube Processing Area:
    • R-axis requires two sets of servo drive systems to synchronize the dual chucks’ rotation.
    • One additional set controls the material feeding of the rear chuck.
  • Plate Processing Area:
    • X-axis & Y-axis: Three sets of 750W servo drive systems to ensure precise synchronization.
    • Z-axis: One 400W servo motor with brake to prevent the cutting head from losing control in case of power failure.

Rack and Guide Rails (Length Designed According to Work Area):HIWIN heavy duty ball bearing linear guide with sliders, optimized for high load capacity and rigidity.

  • X-Axis: 2 guide rails, 1 rack
  • Y-Axis: 2 guide rails, 2 racks
  • R-Axis: 2 guide rails, 1 rack

5. Electrical Components

We provide flexible configurations to meet different power and cutting requirements. This kit includes essential electrical components (excluding servo drives and controllers) and pre-wired circuit boards for easy installation.
