DIY Core Kit for Fiber Laser Cutting Machines
A matched hardware-and-document package for technically capable DIY hobbyists, individual builders, small technical teams and integrators who can source or fabricate the machine structure and safely complete installation, wiring and initial debugging.
1500W and 2000W now have published selectable variant prices. The 3000W product remains under engineering selection and quotation. Packaging/pre-shipment handling and international freight are confirmed separately.
DIY Core Kit Technical Materials
Core Kit focuses on basic configuration and installation-reference documents. It does not include the deeper pre-checked and guided-delivery materials reserved for DIY Ready Kit.

A concise flowchart covering unpacking, placement, cooling connection, wiring, gas check, pre-power inspection, initial setup, and first-test preparation. This is not an installation video.

Basic reminders for common connection, cooling, gas, interface, and startup mistakes.
Core / Ready Boundary
Installation video, QC Card, initial parameter package, prewired control plate, safety interlock package, Gas Board principle and detailed wiring diagrams, and sequenced installation packing belong to DIY Ready Kit. Gas Board hardware remains part of the confirmed Core Kit BOM.
Document control: Each of the six documents carries its own Document ID, version, effective date, and applicable Kit/configuration. Version information is document-control metadata, not a separate seventh document or product.

DIY Core Kit 01
1500W DIY Core Kit
Laser Source Direction
MAX MFSC 1500X, Raycus RFL-C1500S-CE / RFL-C020-CE, BWT 1500W, or JPT CW 1500W. Final source is selected by availability, interface, and application.
Cutting Head Direction
Raytools or BOCI options such as BM110, BM111, BS03K-CAT, or BLT311. The final head must match source power, controller, connector, and application.
Controller Direction
Raytools XC3000PLUS or BOCHU FSCUT2000E, subject to final machine structure and I/O requirements.
Cooling Direction
S&A or Tongfei water chiller matched to the selected 1500W laser source and operating conditions.
DIY Core Kit 02
2000W DIY Core Kit
Laser Source Direction
The published variants offer MAX or Raycus 2000W sources. Exact model suffix and interfaces follow the confirmed BOM. Other brands require a custom engineering quotation.
Cutting Head Direction
Configuration A uses BS03K-CAT + XC3000PLUS; B uses BM110 + XC3000PLUS; C uses BLT311 + FSCUT2000E. BM111 is a custom quotation, not a standard B selector option.
Controller Direction
Raytools XC3000PLUS or BOCHU FSCUT2000E, with final signal and interface confirmation before order.
Cooling Direction
The published variants offer S&A 2000W chillers in 50 Hz or 60 Hz versions. Confirm the complete site power arrangement before ordering; other chiller brands require a custom quotation.
DIY Core Kit 03
3000W DIY Core Kit
Laser Source Direction
MAX MFSC 3000C, Raycus RFL-C3000S-CE, BWT 3000W, or JPT CW 3000W. Final source is selected by application, availability, and interface.
Cutting Head Direction
Raytools or BOCI options such as BM110, BM111, BS03K-CAT, or BLT311. Continuous-duty and reflective-material requirements must be reviewed before selection.
Controller Direction
Raytools XC3000PLUS or BOCHU FSCUT2000E, subject to the final cutting head, I/O, and machine configuration.
Cooling Direction
A water chiller with verified capacity for the selected 3000W source and duty cycle. The exact model is confirmed during engineering review.
Customer and Sky Fire Boundaries
Customer Provides
- Machine bed and mechanical structure
- Approved site power supply and local electrical work
- Air compressor and oxygen / nitrogen supply
- Enclosure, dust extraction, workshop preparation, and local compliance
- Onsite assembly labor unless separately quoted
Sky Fire Provides
- Engineering selection and matched core-component direction
- Confirmed Kit BOM, free packing checklist and applicable Core technical documents
- Interface and compatibility review before quotation
- Gas Board hardware and the included head-matched consumables pack specified on the selected product page
- Upgrade path to Assembly, Debugging, or Remote Commissioning packages
Not Included by Default
Onsite wiring, enclosure and dust extraction, complete machine installation, full debugging, production optimization, and responsibility for third-party or customer-supplied components.
Before Order or Quotation
Please provide target material and thickness, working area, machine type, electrical standard, gas plan, expected duty cycle, current components, and the level of technical support required. For 1500W and 2000W orders, confirm the final BOM, packaging/pre-shipment handling and freight before ordering.
